DESCRIPTION:

One of the more notable and high-profile copper architectural projects in Canada is the on-going restoration of the Fairmont Château Laurier,
which many Canadians immediately recognize due to its location across the Rideau Canal from Parliament Buildings. The restoration involves replacing the existing 90-year-old copper roof, in order to preserve the integrity of the Hotel well into the next century. The project will also
result in a uniform roof appearance in a few years, which has not been the case over the last decade or so due to sporadic repairs of small
areas at various times.
