Artcast Inc.

Artcast Inc. has been casting sculptures in bronze and various other metals using the 'lost wax process' since 1964. Located in Halton Hills, Ontario, Artcast provides services including enlarging, moldmaking, casting, finishing, patinating, polishing, repairs, and restorations. They are also available for consultation on new and existing sculptures.

Artcast's experienced staff is well trained in modern techniques and all phases of the process guaranteeing quality castings and excellent workmanship. Modern equipment and facilities enable them to produce sculptures ranging in size from small desktop pieces to monumental sculptures weighing several thousand pounds (some of these projects are highlighted in Canadian Copper Bulletin articles, found in the CCBDA's online archives).

A family-operated business, founder Eric Knoespel, son Marcus, and a dedicated team of employees work to ensure that the foundry operates as a leader in the field of casting metal sculpture. Canadian Brass & Copper Co.

Canadian Brass & Copper Co., headquartered in Concord, Ontario, was founded in 1983 by Peter Sheppard, primarily to supply products to the brass bed marketplace. Having started out in a modest 2,000 sq. ft. (185 m2) building they have expanded over the years to a 100,000 sq. ft. (9,300 m2) facility.

Today Canadian Brass & Copper is one of North America's premier nonferrous metal distributors and suppliers with inventories tailored to meet the diverse needs of many industry segments. Their architectural product lines have been vastly expanded to include nonferrous products in the fields of roofing, interior design and exterior cladding of buildings, homes, elevator cabs, railing systems, architectural hardware, lighting and a host of other fabricated applications.

On the industrial and manufacturing side, screw machine bar stock, plumbing tube, and electrical inventories are a staple. Along with supplying quality materials from around the world, Canadian Brass & Copper provides secondary services such as slitting, saw cutting, and cut-to-length services.

Cello Products Inc.

Cello Products Inc. is the premier copper solder fittings manufacturer in Canada. Cello produces fittings ranging in use from underground water services to water distribution and air conditioning systems, as well as drainage, waste and vent systems for use in residential, commercial, industrial and institutional applications. They have the most extensive line of solder fittings available in Canada.

Founded in 1946 in Cambridge, Ontario, Cello Products today produces an extensive line of both wrought copper and cast brass solder fittings, in sizes ranging from 1/8-in to 8-in. Cello also manufactures a cast threaded brass product line and does custom casting for special order fittings.

Cello is the only cast brass fittings producer in Canada, and one of only two full-line solder fittings manufacturers in North America. Their fittings are made from the highest quality raw materials, and modern production techniques such as fully automatic computer numeric controlled lathes, programmable logic controllers, and hydraulic forming machines which ensure consistency and quality in their products. All manufacturing is done in an 85,000 sq. ft. (8,000 m2) building in Cambridge.

Fairview Fittings & Manufacturing Ltd.

The breadth and depth of Fairview Fittings & Manufacturing's brass fitting, valve and quick-disconnect lines is unequalled by any single competitor. They also offer hose, couplings and other controls to the propane and natural gas, hydraulic, plumbing and automotive and recreational vehicle industries.

Fairview started business in 1969 as a small manufacturer and distributor of fittings and hose in Toronto. Since then, it has become an international company encompassing branches across Canada and the United States comprising over 250,000 total square feet (23,000 m2) of warehousing space.

Hudbay Minerals Inc.

Hudbay is an integrated mining company with operations, development properties and exploration activities in North and South America. Ingot Metal Company Limited

Ingot Metal Company Limited is one of the largest manufacturers of brass and bronze ingot in North America. The family-owned company has been in the brass and bronze smelting business for over seventy years and at its present location in Toronto for almost fifty. The company produces the full range of ingots (where copper is the main element) to certified world standards such as ASTM, CDA and SAE. The company has a monthly capacity of four million pounds (1.8 million kgs) and is registered to ISO 9001:2008.

Over fifty percent of all copper-alloy ingots are ultimately consumed in water distribution systems. Worldwide legislation is at the cusp of eliminating all lead-containing brasses and bronzes from plumbing systems that come into contact with potable water. Ingot Metal is at the forefront of bringing new lead-free alloys to the marketplace. The company manufactures all of the "bismuth bronzes" including Federalloy TM, as well as all of the lead-free silicon brasses including ECO Brass TM.

The company produces additional ingot alloys that serve many other industries. Examples are as varied as bearing alloys, bronze sculptures, plaques, marine hardware, mining machine parts, ornamental hardware, ship propellers, railroad castings and even musical instrument components!

Nexans Canada Inc.

Over one hundred years ago, the construction of the first Hydro Generating plant in Niagara Falls begat the need to bring this new-found source of energy to Southern Ontario. Five entrepreneurs recognized the opportunity, and so Canada Wire & Cable was created and established in Toronto. The company grew and over time became part of Nexans, a world-wide organization of 23,000 employees in 39 countries involved in all aspects of the wire and cable market. Nexans in North America, headquartered in Markham, Ontario, boasts 11 facilities on the continent.
